
Kanan Sharma is a trauma informed, licensed clinical psychologist with seven years of formal education in the field. She is trained to work in various psychiatric settings, including inpatient and outpatient departments. Proficient in building case formulations and conducting various psychological assessments, including IQ tests, personality assessments, and neuropsychological evaluations, she is well-versed in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns.
During her training, she provided evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET), Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Schema Therapy. She has experience working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including substance and process addictions, mood and personality disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, complex PTSD, PTSD, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, and challenges related to assertiveness.
Her dedication to contributing valuable insights in her field was evident from the outset of her academic journey when she received the Best Research Paper Award early in her education.
